Trial-specific effects standardized to the overall IF
Source:R/shrinkage.R
standardized_trial_effects.RdEvaluates the CAMS fixed-effect reconstruction at the overall information
fraction \(\omega\), rather than using each trial's \(\pi_j\) and
engine-native trial latent effect:
$$\mu_i=\alpha+\beta\omega+\gamma\,1(i=B).$$
This is standardization to the target population, not shrinkage. Prefer
shrinkage() for forest greys and trial-specific posterior means.
Arguments
- fit
A
interactmetafromcams().- type
Which estimand:
"modifiers","interaction", or"combined".- format
Output representation (same choices as
shrinkage()).- prob
Coverage probability for intervals when a summary is built.
- max_support
Optional cap on unweighted posterior rows. Rejected for Bayesian CAMS DIRECT supports; omit it.
- summary
If
TRUE(default), attach / build a summary whenformat = "list"or"summary".- contrast_sep
Passed to contrast resolution (default
"-").- ifrac
How overall IF \(\omega\) is pooled via
ifrac()whenatisNULL:"interaction"(default) or"overall".- at
Optional reporting information fraction (same as
modifiers()).- exponentiate
If
TRUE, transform posterior draws withexp().- component
Soft-deprecated alias for
type.- contribution
Deprecated; use
\code{at}.
Value
Same structure as shrinkage() for the chosen type / format.
